  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed (for egg replacement)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preparation Steps:
    Mash Bananas: In a mixing bowl, peel and mash the bananas until smooth.
    Add Wet Ingredients: Stir in maple syrup, melted coconut oil, ground flaxseed, and vanilla extract.
    Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, baking soda, and cinnamon.
    Combine: Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
    Bake: Transfer the batter into a loaf pan that’s been lightly greased. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
    Cool & Serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra touch, you can add in chocolate chips, walnuts, or dried fruit to make this banana bread even more indulgent! Make sure to use ripe bananas for the best flavor and moisture.
