Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Season the Chicken: Lightly season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and sear for 5-6 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Prepare the sauce: by tossing minced garlic into the same pan, letting it sizzle for a minute or two until its aroma fills the kitchen. Pour in the honey, soy sauce, and a splash of lemon juice, stirring gently. Allow the mixture to bubble and reduce for 3–5 minutes until it slightly thickens.
  • Combine Chicken with Sauce: Return the chicken breasts to the pan and coat them in the sauce. Let it cook for another 3-4 minutes, allowing the chicken to absorb the flavors and the sauce to thicken.
  • Garnish and Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with your favorite side dish.

Notes

For an extra kick, you can add red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper to the sauce. You can also use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a richer flavor.
