- 700g flour
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp instant yeast
- 1/2 cup oil
- warm water
- 300g chicken breast
- 2 onions
- 3 carrots
- 3 tbsp oil
- salt & pepper
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp barbecue sauce
- 4 tbsp cheese sauce
- 300g grated cheese
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
Make the Dough: Mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast. Add oil and warm water to form a smooth dough. Let it rise for 1 hour.
Cook the Filling: Sauté onions and carrots in oil. Add chicken and cook through. Season and mix in sauces and cheese.
Assemble the Pie: Roll out dough, layer the filling, top with cheese, and cover with more dough. Seal the edges.
Cook the Pie: Cook on low heat for 25-30 minutes, flip, and cook another 15-20 minutes until golden.
- Use leftover chicken to make the filling faster!
- For extra flavor, try adding mushrooms or bell peppers.
- If you prefer baking, set your oven to 350°F and bake for 40-45 minutes.
