Ingredients
  

  • For the Crepe Batter:
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • For the Chicken Filling:
  • 2 onions finely chopped
  • 300 g chicken cut into strips
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 3 tbsp cheese sauce
  • 1 cup cooking cream
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • For Frying:
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • Breadcrumbs as needed
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Make the Crepe Batter:
    1️⃣ whisk together eggs, milk, oil, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
    2️⃣ Slowly add flour while whisking to prevent lumps.
    3️⃣ Pour in boiling water and mix until smooth.
    4️⃣ Strain the batter and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • Step 2: Cook the Crepes:
    1️⃣ Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
    2️⃣ Pour a ladle of batter, swirling it evenly across the pan.
    3️⃣ Cook until edges lift, then flip and cook the other side.
    4️⃣ Repeat with the remaining batter and set the crepes aside.
  • Step 3: Prepare the Chicken Filling:
    1️⃣ Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until soft.
    2️⃣ Add chicken strips, season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook until golden.
    3️⃣ Stir in cheese sauce and cooking cream. Simmer for 3 minutes.
    4️⃣ Let the mixture cool slightly before assembling.
  • Step 4: Assemble & Fry the Crepes:
    1️⃣ Place a filling portion onto each crepe and fold into a roll or envelope.
    2️⃣ Dip each crepe into beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
    3️⃣ Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy.
    4️⃣ Drain excess oil on paper towels and serve warm!
