Ingredients
  

  • 3 ½ cups (450g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (240ml) warm milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 tablespoons (60g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups (300g) cottage cheese
  • 1 cup (50g) fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (optional)
  • 1 egg (optional, for binding)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Optional: Sesame or poppy seeds

Instructions
 

  • Preparation Steps:
    Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm milk, egg, and butter. Knead until smooth. Let it rise for 1–1.5 hours.
    Combine cottage cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper for the filling.
    Divide dough into three strands, roll out, and fill with the mixture. Seal and braid.
    Let it rise for another 30–40 minutes. Brush with egg wash.
    Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30–35 min until golden. Enjoy! 😍

  • For extra flavor, add garlic powder or grated cheese to the filling.
