Ingredients
  

  • 10 slices white sandwich bread crusts removed
  • 100 g 3.5 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • cup whole milk
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter for frying
  • Powdered sugar & maple syrup for garnish and dipping

Instructions
 

  • Flatten the Bread:
    Trim the crusts and use a rolling pin to gently flatten each slice of bread.
  • Mix the Filling:
    Mix softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a bowl until the texture is silky and smooth.
  • Fill and Roll:
    Spread a spoonful of filling on one edge of the bread slice. Roll tightly.
  • Prepare Egg Mixture:
    Whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla in a shallow bowl until fully blended and smooth.
  • Dip the Rolls:
    Gently coat each roll-up in the egg mixture.
  • Fry Until Golden:
    Heat butter in a non-stick skillet and cook each roll for 2–3 minutes, turning to brown all sides.
  • Coat in Cinnamon Sugar:
    Mix cinnamon and sugar in a bowl. While still warm, dip the roll-ups into the mixture straight from the pan.

Notes

  • Swap cream cheese for Nutella, peanut butter, or fruit jam for a flavor twist.
  • Prep ahead: Assemble and refrigerate overnight. Just dip and fry in the morning!
  • Best enjoyed warm—but they reheat well in the air fryer!
