  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Preparation Steps:
    Mix cooked ground beef, chili, cheddar cheese, and green onions in a bowl.
    In another bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
    Add beaten egg and milk to the dry ingredients, stirring to form a dough.
    Shape the dough into small discs, add a spoonful of chili cheese filling, and seal it.
    Heat oil to 350°F and fry nuggets until golden and crispy (about 3-4 minutes).

Notes
