Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces Chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Butter (unsalted)
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Chicken:
    Use a paper towel to gently dry the chicken thighs.
    Liberally season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  • Sear the Chicken:
    Melt olive oil and butter together in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Place the chicken thighs skin-side down and sear for 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
    Turn the pieces over and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Create the Garlic Cream Sauce:
    In the same skillet, toss in the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
    Add the chicken broth to the pan, stirring to loosen any caramelized bits stuck to the bottom.
    Lower the heat and mix in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
    Let the sauce simmer lightly for about 5 minutes, or until it thickens.
  • Combine and Finish:
    Return the seared chicken thighs to the skillet.
    Spoon the sauce over the chicken and simmer for another 10 minutes until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
    For a burst of freshness, add a squeeze of lemon juice, if preferred.
  • 5. Garnish and Serve:
    Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top.
    Serve hot with your favorite side dish.

  1. Chicken Options: You can use boneless thighs for quicker cooking, but bone-in thighs provide deeper flavor.
  2. Custom Additions: Enhance the sauce by adding mushrooms, spinach, or a splash of white wine.
