  • Fine mesh strainer or tea infuser

  • Pitcher or glass jug

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp dried butterfly pea flowers about 2g
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice about 2–3 lemons
  • 2 tbsp honey or agave syrup adjust to taste
  • 2 cups cold water or ice
  • Lemon slices & mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

Steep the Flowers:

  • Place the flowers in hot water and let them steep for 5–10 minutes until the water turns a rich blue.

Strain the Tea:

  • Remove flowers and cool the tea.

Add Lemon Juice:

  • Watch the magic as it turns purple!

Sweeten & Chill:

  • Add honey and cold water or ice.

Notes

For an elegant twist, add sparkling water instead of still water for a fizzy finish. You can also infuse extra flavors by steeping with lemongrass or ginger. Adjust the lemon-to-tea ratio to play with the shade of purple—it’s like mixing a potion that tastes as good as it looks! 💜✨
